UPG Biashara Entrepreneurship Grant

These Grants are available for all Certified UPG Biashara Entrepreneurs.

The Diamonds Do Good® Entrepreneurship Grant

Application is currently ongoing. Only UPG Biashara Entrepreneurs are eligible to apply and WIN the Grant.

The Diamonds Do Good® Entrepreneurship Grant is a USD 100,000 partnership between Diamonds Do Good® and United People Global that provides financial support and business expertise to promising entrepreneurs. The grant sizes range between USD 5,000 and USD 20,000. The 2024 Diamonds Do Good® Entrepreneurship Grant will be won by entrepreneurs from diamond-producing countries in southern Africa.

Prince Adebajo Babington-Ashaye Business Grant

Prince Adebajo Babington-Ashaye Business Grant was established to provide vital financial resources to turn their ideas into reality. The Grant is established in honour of the Late Prince Adebajo Abiodun Babington-Ashaye whose passion for and commitment to entrepreneurship saw him run a range of businesses during his career.

The Maxine’s Village Business Grant

The Maxine’s Village Business Grant honors the memory of Maxine Edelman, mother, world traveler, artist and collector. Her delight in the wide world was undiminished by age or infirmity. As her mobility declined and her own world shrank, she harnessed her creativity to bring the outside world into her own room.

We meet entrepreneurs and people who are passionate about supporting entrepreneurs. Depending on the event, we may also meet Applicants and Candidates to join future classes of UPG Biashara. How do I apply for the program?

You can apply by clicking this link: upglive.org/UPGBiashara and filling the application form where you will be asked some questions about yourself and you business.

Am I required to submit a video?

Yes, to make your application much stronger.

Who is eligible to apply?

* Anyone who is 18 and above.

* Applicants from all region across the globe.

* Applicants who have business ideas.

* Applicants who have established business or businesses.

* Applicants who do not have a business or a business idea but have strong motivation to becoming an entrepreneur.

What do I stand to gain from the program?

* Entrepreneurship skills from world class instructors across the globe.

* Network and support from a global community of entrepreneurs.

* Grant prizes support for your business growth ranging from USD 5000 to USD 20000.

* Mentorships from experts in the different business industry.

What language is required for the application?

We expect that all applicants should understand English. As English is the primary language we use in delivering our course structure.

Application is free but I was asked to pay a token while filling the application form?

The application/training is FREE. The payment is not compulsory. If you would like to contribute to the good causes UPG carry out through her diverse initiatives like the UPG Biashara and the UPG Sustainability, you are free to make payment.

Will I be disqualified from being selected into the program because I did not pay?

No, you wouldn’t. As long as you have a business or a business idea and you show strong motivation in your application.

Would there be any bonus for my application if I make payment?

Yes, you have a high chance of getting into the program if you pay.
